Latest: On September 30, 2026, Eli Lilly reported phase 2b results for EloraTZP (eloralintide plus tirzepatide) at EASD 2026: up to -23.3% weight change at 48 weeks in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes, against -14.8% for tirzepatide 15 mg alone, and said it plans phase 3 of a co-formulation by the end of 2026. Eloralintide alone remains in phase 3 (five ENLIGHTEN studies, estimated primary completion January to June 2028), and no regulatory filing has been announced. As of October 15, 2026 the ClinicalTrials.gov registry lists 21 Lilly studies of eloralintide.

The name first spiked to 6,600 searches in November 2025, when the Lancet paper appeared, fell back to 2,400 in December and then climbed through 2026 to about 27,000 a month in both July and September. The fastest growth is in comparison, side-effect and buying searches.
