Description

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) modified with a trans-3-hexenoic acid group conjugated to the N-terminus to enhance metabolic stability and resistance to dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) degradation. This structural modification extends Tesamorelin’s half-life compared to native GHRH while preserving full agonist activity at the pituitary GHRH receptor, making it particularly valuable for sustained GH secretion research models.
